When I was on safari in Uganda, we were lucky enough to run into a small pride of lions. The mother had just made a kill and fed her two yearling cubs. The guide thought we would be safe enough since they had just eaten. We pulled up in our van and observed them playing and hanging out on a beautiful clear day in the shade of a tree. I was standing up in our van that had an open roof. The lioness saw me looking at her and we locked eyes. A cold chill went down my spine as she hypnotized me with her gaze. I had never been prey before! I love tigers, they are so incredible, so when it was Chinese New Year, the year of the water tiger, I summoned up "that look" and painted a tiger.
